Fic: Throw in the towel

Title: Throw in the towel Author: TyffiRating: G (?)Characters: Lex, HudsonSpoilers: NopeWords: 990Disclaimer: None of it is mine but the mistakes.Summary: Lex and Hudson are on winter holidays.Note: written for aelora who wanted a fic for this picture.**** Hudson still can't believe she's really here. In this incredible luxurious hotel. In Aspen, Colorado. With Lex.It's the week before Christmas and her parents really let her go. They let her spend a whole week with Lex. Alone! And it just took her three hours to persuade them. Jonathan even wished her a nice week when Lex came four days ago to the farm to pick her up.He wasn't grumbling at all and Hudson's still a little bit suspicious of his behaviour but she doesn't want to think about her father while she has a whole week with Lex. Alone. They have had a great week so far. And still three days left. Yesterday they were skiing all day long and today Lex surprised her with a very romantic sleigh ride. The sleigh was pulled by two adorable Haflingers with long blonde manes and Hudson immediately fell in love with them.Covered in warm blankets they spent two hours kissing, hugging, talking and watching the snowy landscape in the open sleigh until they were brought back to their hotel. Now they are in their suite again, but just half an hour ago they had a snowball fight. Hudson started it, of course. She dismounted the sleigh earlier than Lex and couldn't resist to throw a snowball at him. When it hit his face he first stared at her for a moment with an angry glance and then suddenly grabbed some snow to throw a snowball at Hudson. He hit her exactly on her chest and grinned. And soon they were laughing and fighting and both enjoyed their fight. While Hudson's lying on the carpet in front of the fireplace in their suite, she's still thinking about the afternoon. There's a smile on her lips. Her gaze is dreamy and she curls strands of her hair around her finger.Lex is sitting in a chair, his laptop on his knees and he seems to work, but in this moment he isn't checking the screen. He peeks over it and watches his girlfriend. She's dreaming, smiling and messing up her hair. He loves it! He could look at her for the rest of his life without getting bored. His glance rambles over her long legs, stops at her ass for a second and then goes on to her back.Suddenly Hudson looks up and find him smirking."What are you grinning at?" she asks confused."Nothing," Lex replies and looks at his laptop again. His lips are curling a little bit while he's pretending to read something on the screen."But you were grinning at me. Why? Is there something on my back?" Hudson stands up and twists her head to check her back."Everything's fine with your back, Angel," he laughs. "Stop twisting your head. You'll dislocate your neck!" He gives her a smile and then start typing on his laptop."I won't dislocate anything," she snarls. "Why were you laughing at me, Lex? What have I done? It's not nice to make fun of people and don't tell them why." She goes towards him. Her arms crossed in front of her chest, her foot is tipping on the floor."I wasn't laughing at you," he explains softly. "And you haven't done anything. It's just -" He stops. The corners of his mouth are twitching and he takes a deep breath. "It's nothing, Angel. Just let me write this mail, okay?! I promise it'll be the last one for today."Hudson mutters something and picks up a magazine which is lying on a small table next to Lex. Then she sits down again on the floor, curls her legs beneath her and leafs through the mag.Just a few minutes later she feels Lex' gaze at her again. She's looking up and stares at him. This time annoyed."What???""Nothing, Angel," he says simpering and put down his laptop. "I'm done."Her face lightens up. "Really? Can we have dinner now? I'm hungry.""You always are," he grins and look at her. He's going to say something else but then hesitates and bites his lip. He's trying hard not to laugh."Leeee-eeexxxx! What is it???""Nothing... It's just..." He clears his throat. "It's just...""What???"Actually Lex is a master craftsman in self-control but he can't stop himself from laughing anymore. The laughters burst out of him and he hardly can breath."It's your shirt", he guffaws. "I'm so sorry. You're looking gorgeous in in but it... it..." He gasps for air. "It... it... Sorry, but it looks like it used to be a bath towel."Hudson stares at him for a moment, frowned. She'd never seen him laughing like that before and she likes it. But then she checks her shirt. It's blue and a little bit fluffy but it definitely doesn't looks like a towel at all."Well, I'm glad I could amuse you," she snaps at him and turns around."Where are you going?""To the bathroom. See if I can find another towel which fits as a skirt!" There's a flash of her tongue and she's going to enter the bathroom. But Lex jumps up and grabs her arm."Don't go. I'm sorry," he whispers. "You're looking adorable in your shirt.""Of course I do," she grins. "I'm always adorable! But don't think your blandishments help you saving your dessert. I'll get it!""That's my punishment? No dessert?" Lex laughs and pulls his arm around her waist. "Nasty little farm-girl." "Spoiled billionaire!" she replies.Still laughing Lex pulls her closer and kisses her softly. "Are we ready for dinner?" he asks a few moments later."Yeah... I just need to put on my towel skirt..." She's making a grimace and pokes her tongue out at him again.Lex shakes his head smiling. "You're killing me!""I'm doing good, right?" She's laughing and pulls his arm. "Let's go, I'm longing for your dessert!"~finis~*****Sorry for the bad english and the silly plot.

I'm so glad you liked it :) And that it gave you some inspiration. Actually I wanted to write a really romatic piece... I don't know what happend. Hudson is even more pigheaded then my Lex. But it was fun to write it :)
